Drum Clinics

Drum Central has brought, and continues to bring, some of the world's greatest drummers to Scotland. Our main aim is to encourage and inspire. Over the years we have hosted drum clinics by Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Omar Hakim, Thomas Lang, Nicko McBrain, Jojo Mayer, Greg Bissonette, Zoro, Terry Bozzio and Aaron Spears to name but a few.

Our commitment to drum clinics was never more apparent than in 2006 and 2007 when we put on the two largest drum shows Scotland has ever seen, our famous 'Scottish Drum Days'. At these two events alone we hosted performances by Akira Jimbo, Stanton Moore, John Blackwell, Thomas Lang, Marco Minneman, Craig Blundell, Pete Riley, Mark Richardson and Adrian Erlandsson. Both events had a host of attractions including a retail display village, drum kit and percussion seminars and workshops and World's Fastest Drummer contests.
