Established at the beginning of 1999 Drum Central has grown from a single small store in Edinburgh to having the No1 drum superstores in Scotland. We have now become one of the largest drum and percussion retailers in the U.K. providing drummers with all the leading brands, hundreds of cymbals, massive array of percussion and Scotland's largest stocks of accessories, sticks and drum heads.

Drum Central is one of only two dedicated drum chains in the whole of the U.K., and we have almost anything that any drummer could want, between our Edinburgh and Glasgow stores. We have two teams of fully trained professionals on hand in our stores to answer every question you may have so you can rest assured that you have come to the best place for all things drum related! Since 1999 Drum Central has brought the world's greatest drummers to Scotland. Our aim has been to encourage and inspire. Over the years Drum Central have hosted clinics by Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Omar Hakim, Thomas Lang, Nicko McBrain, Jojo Mayer, Greg Bissonette, Zoro, Terry Bozzio to name but a few. Our commitment to drum clinics culminated in 2006 and 2007 when we put on the two largest drum shows Scotland has ever seen, our famous 'Scottish Drum Day's'. At these two events alone we hosted performance's by Akira Jimbo, Stanton Moore, John Blackwell, Thomas Lang, Marco Minneman, Craig Blundell, Pete Riley, Mark Richardson and Adrian Erlandsson. Both events had a host of attractions including a retail display village, drum kit and percussion seminars and workshops and World's Fastest Drummer contests.
