Both the Meinl and Protection Racket drum rugs are rubber backed and unlikely to slide once they are down but apart from that they vary hugely. The Meinl rug features an eye catching oriental design which is very cool but won’t fit with every kit finish. The Protection Racket is more minimalist and professional in design.
