Regal Tip was formed in 1958 as a drum stick manufacturer by Joe Calato. The first company to introduce the now standard nylon tip drum stick. They have been at the forefront of innovation in percussion accessories for more than half a decade and remains family run to this day.
Now better known for their brushes than their sticks, Regal Tip make high quality drum brushes from a variety of different materials as well as signature brushes for a host of top name drummers including Ed Thigpen, Clayton Cameron and Jeff Hamilton. Ed Thigpen has not one but two signature pairs, a wire pair and a nylon pair.
Products such as the Yellow Jacket and Ultraflex Nylon brushes have become firm favourites amongst drummers of all types. Classic brushes are the best selling brushes of any drum brush in the world.
Newer products such as the Blastick demonstrates Regal Tip's dedication to innovation. These plastic rods are hardwearing and reliable rods with wooden handles that make them comfortable to hold.
