Drum Lessons For All Ages and Abilities.
Drum lessons at Drum Central are suitable for all. Whether you’re a youngster (or a not so youngster) taking your first steps in the world of drums or an experienced player looking for ways to expand your repertoire and get your chops to the next level, the Drum Central tutors will be able to show you the way.
All of our tutors are professional drummers who have played on some of the biggest stages across the country including the O2 Arena and The Shepherds Bush Empire in London, The SECC in Glasgow and the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. Our tutors also work in the shop at Drum Central giving them a uniquely in depth knowledge of the instrument.
We also have a wealth of material in our Player Zone for those looking to do a bit of extra work at home.
Expert Drum Lessons Over Skype
Drum Central’s teaching staff have a combined teaching experience of more than 20 years and have helped students reach a wide range of goals. Boasting a 100% pass rate on both SQA School exams and graded exams, our tutors are equally happy working within an exam structure as they are working towards personal goals.
Previous students at Drum Central have placed in the Top 40 of the Young Drummer of the Year tournaments. Other students have went on to play professionally themselves, such as Laurie Smith (Dootchi/Raintown) and Rebecca Anderson (Skjør/Mt. Doubt).
Drum Tuition from a Professional
Drum lessons are currently only available over Skype during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Our tutors operate a multi camera system that gives you the best possible, fully interactive online drum lesson.
Take a look at the online booking system to view availability. If you are booking your first lesson feel free to use the free trial lesson to try the service for free.
You can choose to specify your tutor or switch between tutors to get the availability you require. Our tutors work together to make sure that they always know what each student is working on at any time.
Lessons on a wide variety of other instruments are available within the same building and also on Skype through Strollers Music. When possible we will work to synchronise lessons so that families where more than one child learns an instrument can come at the same time while the parents relax in the coffee shop upstairs.
