Description
Part of the D’Addario percussion line, Evans provide an extensive range of the highest quality drum heads for snare, bass drum, toms, timpani, marching snare, congas, bongos and timbale. Famed for their efficiency and durability in a live setting, as well as their sound quality and tonal response in a studio setting, they are one of the leading brands of drum heads amongst drummers today.
Evans have been innovating in the drum world for over 60 years and were the first company to offer synthetic (non animal skin) heads to drummers. These days they pin their reputation on their Level 360 technology which they claim offers the best connection with the bearing edge of any drum head and consequently the most consistent tuning.
Evans EQ3 are a straightforward resonant head suitable for all bass drums. Featuring a 10mil single ply head and an internal dampening ring. They are popular with drummers and sound engineers alike, due to them coming with a mic hole already supplied. This removes the need for you to cut a hole yourself. Something that not every drummer is keen on doing. Remember though, Drum Central staff will happily cut a hole in your head for you when purchased with a Bass Drum O or Kickport. There is of course a No Port version of the EQ3 option for drummers that don’t want a mic hole in their head.
This head doesn’t feature a pre cut mic hole. Check out it’s pre cut counterpart here.

At Drum Central we want you to be able to shop with confidence and are happy to offer a 2 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee on all of our new products. (All products sold are considered new unless clearly stated. This includes ex display models.)
If within 30 days of receiving your purchase you decide it is not right for you providing it is returned in “as new” condition within its unopened original packing we will refund or exchange your item as desired. In cases where packaging has been opened we may be unable to offer a refund but in some cases will offer a refund that reflects the reduced resale value of the item.
We do our best to make sure every aspect of your Drum Central order goes smoothly but in the event that an item arrives either damaged or incorrect then notify us within 14 days and we will arrange a free collection so as to get the item swapped or replaced.
If your purchase develops a fault within the 2 year warranty period you can return it to us and we will repair or replace it. A fault is defined as a defect that you would not normally expect to occur through normal wear and tear and that has not been caused by improper use.
