Description

Gretsch Catalina Club 13″ x 5″ Snare Drum – Gloss Crimson Burst. Gloss Crimson Burst brings colour to a compact mahogany snare. With 13 inches across the head, it has a more concentrated backbeat than a 14-inch model; the 5-inch depth makes the response prompt.

Shell and Sound:

A seven-ply mahogany formula shell underpins this drum’s darkish wood tone. Gretsch cuts 30-degree bearing edges and leaves the interior natural. The shallow format helps this note settle quickly.

Hardware and Response:

Gretsch fits 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops, giving the 13-inch head a responsive rim and a little room around its short note.
