Description
Gretsch Catalina Club 14″ x 6.5″ Snare Drum – Dark Cherry Sparkle. The Dark Cherry Sparkle 14 x 6.5-inch Catalina Club produces a broad, warm backbeat. Its deeper chamber leaves more shell resonance after accented strokes.
Shell and Sound:
A seven-ply mahogany formula shell underpins this drum’s darkish wood tone. Gretsch cuts 30-degree bearing edges and leaves the interior natural. The shell stays audible after a strong rimshot.
Hardware and Response:
These 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops preserve a freer head response, particularly when the deep snare is tuned openly.
