The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpan is handcrafted from high-quality stainless steel with the utmost care and precision. This allows you to elicit heavenly, room-filling sounds. The attractive vintage gold finish blends harmoniously into the overall picture and attracts attention even before you start playing. This Sensory Handpan has a diameter of 22‘ and is tuned to the popular D-Amara scale (A4/a’ 440 Hz) with 10 notes. Anyone can play this instrument and produce great sounds even without prior knowledge, as all notes sound harmonious with each other. The pleasantly low fundamental tone in the center is surrounded by nine-tone fields that produce a pure and soothing sound. On the underside of the Sensory Handpan there are two sound holes pointing in opposite directions to provide both the player and the listener with a realistic sound image. All Sensory Handpans are supplied with two removable sound tubes, which you can use to change the tonal characteristics of the instrument according to your wishes. The longer sound tube is placed opposite the lower notes and the shorter one is opposite the higher notes. With its intense, wonderful sound, this handpan is perfect for sound journeys, meditation, or simply for calming the mind in the morning or evening. The Handpan is a fantastic instrument for your entry into the world of relaxation and for learning new melodies. Thanks to its basic tuning of 440 Hz, it can be combined wonderfully with other instruments. The scope of delivery includes a robust protective cover made of stainless steel, a soft storage case, a hard-wearing, padded transport bag with synthetic lining, an adjustable rucksack set, and a sturdy carrying handle.
