The Shells

6 ply, 7mm shells made from 100% asian poplar deliver plenty of punch and controlled power that is just right for those smaller gigs where a full size kit can over power the sound and crowd the stage.

The Fittings

The fittings used on the Pearl Midtown are the same fittings used on the best selling Export Series. Triple flanged 1.6mm hoops deliver a satisfying crack and reliable tuning.

The Hardware

New for 2023 the Pearl Midtown now includes a full set of hardware including a space saving bass drum mounted ride stand and single braced snare, crash and hi hat stands. The Pearl TH701 tom mount gives you a reliable arm for mounting your tom on the bass drum. To ensure that the bass pedal connects with the sweet spot in the middle of the 16″ bass drum a neat, adjustable bass drum lifter is included in the pack.

The Snare Drum

Surprisingly versatile, with a wide tuning range this 8 lug 13×5.5″ snare drum is as happy delivering high pitched crack as it is low tuned beef. Makes for a great second snare when you are out gigging with the bigger kit.
