In August 2015 we invited JP Bouvet to Edinburgh for a drum clinic at the Liquid Rooms. Best known as drummer for Childish Japes, Generation Axe and as an online educator, JP delivered a clinic to remember. JP discusses his own approaches to creativity and inspiration and goes into full detail about the importance of repetition. This hour long video features several stunning performances as well as tips and exercises to work on. JP Bouvet explains the difference between exact, anchor and thematic repetition and the importance of playing with real dynamics.
