The SC145 features the MUS80A strainer which locks the snare throw-off in place, ensuring that it will not slip. When the snares are on it is completely secure and they are easy to switch off if required. This works in tandem with the MUS8oB butt which allows for fine adjustments to the tension of the snare wires.
