The Gretsch 18″ USA Brooklyn 3-Piece Shell Pack – Gold Sparkle is the compact jazz-sized Brooklyn configuration, but it is far from a one-style kit. The 18″ x 14″ bass drum has a fast, rounded note that works beautifully at acoustic volume and still takes a microphone well. A 12″ rack tom and 14″ floor tom keep the tuning spread focused, melodic and easy to control in smaller rooms. Six-ply North American maple/poplar shells and traditional 30-degree bearing edges give Brooklyn drums their warm fundamental, punchy attack and slightly more open decay. Gretsch 302 hoops are 3 mm thick and double-flanged, so the toms breathe freely while keeping a solid feel under the stick.

• Six-ply North American maple/poplar shells, made slightly thicker than Gretsch USA Custom shells

• Gretsch Silver Sealer shell interiors with individual Brooklyn model and serial labels
• Handcrafted at the Gretsch factory in Ridgeland, South Carolina, USA

• Gretsch 302 3 mm double-flanged steel hoops on the rack tom and floor tom
• Satin Ebony bass drum hoops with matching Gold Sparkle Nitron inlays
• Straight-sided Gretsch GTS suspension mount on the rack tom
• Gretsch floor tom brackets with 12.7 mm legs and Gretsch bass drum spurs
• Gretsch Permatone heads by Remo with coated tom batter heads and clear resonant heads
• Coated Powerstroke-style bass drum batter head and white resonant head with black Gretsch logo
• Chrome shell hardware and key-style tension rods
