Super Kick

These heads feature Aquarian’s patented Floating Muffling System adhered to the backside of the head, producing a deep and focused sound with enhanced low-end response. Super Kick I is single-ply, with Super Kick II being the dual-ply option. The Super Kick III adds a large Power Dot for enhanced durability, while the Superkick 10 utilises two 10-mil plies for serious low-end punch.

Specialty Snare Heads

Hi-Energy  – a single-ply head that utilises a reinforced Power Dot to withstand hard playing.

Hi-Velocity – constructed of two 7-mil plies, the Hi-Velocity range features a strengthening Power Dot underneath them, making for a durable and hard-wearing snare head. ​

Hi-Impact – two 10-mil plies coated and reinforced with a Power Dot on the underside – suitable for high-impact, aggressive playing styles.

Hi-Performance – a very sensitive snare side head that features a special laminate material on either side of the head by the snare beds to prevent tearing caused by broken snare wires.

Triple Threat – designed to withstand aggressive playing while maintaining a balanced, resonant sound, Triple Threat heads consist of three plies of 7-mil Nu-Brite film moulded to act as one powerful, strong snare drum head.

Specialty Bass Drum Heads

Impact Series -designed for aggressive playing styles, the durable Impact range features a wide muffle ring that is adhered to the backside of the head. They are available in single and double-ply form as the Impact I and Impact II, or with and added Power Dot as the Impact III.

Regulator – a resonant head that features a small floating muffle ring in the centre of the head, designed to control overtones and enhance tonal focus. This head works well in conjunction with Aquarian’s Super Kick and Impact series bass drum heads.

Full Force – These heavy-duty bass heads feature an acoustically vented muffling ring that is tucked into the hoop on the backside of the head. Full Force I are batter heads whereas Full Force II are the resonant head equivalent.

Texture Coated

A single-ply drumhead featuring Aquarian’s Z100 texture coating which is designed to resist chipping off and make for a head that is built to last. Delivering a warm, controlled tone with enhanced durability. Similar in style to Remo’s Coated Ambassador, these heads are ideal for achieving a vintage feel and sound.

Response 2

Response 2 are two ply heads which snap with great attack and a full sound. Similar in style to Remo’s Emperor heads, they are effective when tuned tight or loose – the coated version has a “dry” and powerful sound on snare drum and toms.

Vintage Series

Heads in Aquarian’s Vintage range feature a special coating that mimics the look and feel of a calfskin head. Modern Vintage are the single-ply, 10-mil option whereas Modern Vintage II are made with two 7-mil plies. American Vintage heads have a slightly larger hoop diameter to fit older American-made drums, while the Deep Vintage range provides particularly low, warm and organic tones.

Performance II

The Performance II is sealed around the edge to create a particularly deep sound on toms. Similar in style to Remo’s Pinstripe head, the Performance II is designed to be tuned loose for depth and punch with little over-ring.

Ported Series

Aquarian’s pre-ported resonant bass drum heads come with either a centered 7″ port or an offset 4¾” hole, offering convenient options for microphone placement and sound control.

Concert 5

Crafted specifically for orchestral and light snare drum applications, the Concert 5’s thin 5-mil design delivers a highly sensitive and articulate response, making it ideal for dynamic, nuanced playing.
