Evans EMAD2

EMAD2 is a two-ply version of Evans’ EMAD drumhead system. Constructed with a 10-mil inner ply and a 6.5-mil outer ply, it is designed to provide a stronger attack with less low-end resonance in comparison to the single-ply EMAD.

The Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system is what sets the EMAD range apart from other bass drumheads – this adds a foam dampening ring to the outside of the head to focus the sound and control sustain and overtones. The player can even adjust attack and focus without removing the drumhead, simply by changing the size of dampening ring.
