The Ludwig Supralite Snare Drums are constructed with a mirrored, polished, 1mm beaded steel shell that offers a bright, cutting attack, while providing a wide, powerful mid-range overtone. These snare drums are fitted with chrome plated brass tube lugs, 2.3 mm chrome plated triple flange hoops, and brass snare wires. All snares feature a new and improved P88I throw-off and the P33 butt-plate. Quality and versatility to fit any budget.
There are different configurations of Supralites offering 5.5″ depth, 6.5″ depth and 4″ depth. Each one gives a unique look and a classic sound.
