Description

Ludwig Black Beauty Hot Rod 14″ x 6.5″ Brass Snare Drum. The Hot Rod takes the 14 x 6.5-inch Black Beauty into a more focused playing feel. Its broad head delivers a full backbeat, the shell depth allows the note to develop and the die-cast rims sharpen the edge of harder strokes.

Shell and Sound:

The seamless 1.2mm brass shell carries a rounded, resonant metal voice. The matte black finish and copper-finished hardware define the Hot Rod’s appearance without changing the underlying brass construction.

Hardware and Response:

Ten tube lugs and die-cast hoops give this edition its distinct layout. The cast rims firm up rimshots and cross-sticks and control some of the head ring while the shell continues to resonate.

  • 1.2mm Seamless Brass Shell Black Matte Finish
  • Die cast copper hoops
  • P88AC Throw Off
  • P35P Butt Plate
  • Ludwig Weather Master Medium Coated Head
  • Ludwig Weather Master Clear Snare Side Head
  • 10 Copper Tube Lugs

If within 30 days of receiving your purchase you decide it is not right for you providing it is returned in “as new” condition within its unopened original packing we will refund or exchange your item as desired. In cases where packaging has been opened we may be unable to offer a refund but in some cases will offer a refund that reflects the reduced resale value of the item.

If your purchase develops a fault within the 2 year warranty period you can return it to us and we will repair or replace it. A fault is defined as a defect that you would not normally expect to occur through normal wear and tear and that has not been caused by improper use.
