Description

By combining a unique vintage-style lathing on the top with a very light Agop Signature-style lathing on the bottom, the Special Edition Jazz Crash creates a sound that is rich, musical, and highly responsive. This carefully balanced construction produces darker, more complex overtones while maintaining a smoother high end and articulate stick definition, allowing the cymbal to speak clearly without overpowering the mix.

Sound & Feel:

• Dry, controlled attack with a fast, musical decay
• Dark and complex wash that remains focused
• Smooth high end without harshness
• Responsive at low and medium dynamic levels
• Expressive and sensitive to touch and articulation

Built to Perform:

• Handcrafted in Turkey using traditional methods
• Vintage-style top lathing for added complexity
• Light Agop Signature-style bottom lathing for refined stick response
• Designed for dynamic control and tonal balance
• Built for consistent performance in studio and live settings

Ideal For:

• Jazz drummers seeking a dry, expressive crash
• Players who favour dark, complex tonal palettes
• Acoustic, trio, and small ensemble settings
• Studio musicians requiring controlled decay and clarity
• Drummers wanting a crash that blends rather than dominates
