Description

LP’s Merengue Guiro gives you the hard-edged scrape that keeps a fast dance rhythm moving. The broad textured surface responds to long strokes and clipped accents, so you can vary the pattern without losing its drive.

Where It Fits:

The steel body measures 12¾” high and 4¼” across, sitting between the compact Mini and wider Professional Guira in this part of the range. Its open ends and supplied Pro scraper help bring out a loud, rough sound; LP calls it a fit for Caballito rhythms in particular.
