Description

Ludwig Raw Brass Phonic 14″ x 5″ Brass Snare Drum. This Raw Brass Phonic brings a dry edge to the rounded Black Beauty family sound. The 14-inch head keeps the backbeat full, while the 5-inch shell responds promptly to ghost notes and does not let the decay dominate the next stroke.

Shell and Sound:

Ludwig’s 1mm seamless brass shell is left raw, so the surface develops its own appearance. Brass supplies a warm metallic centre, with a slightly drier response than the more ringing Black Beauty voice.

Hardware and Response:

Steel triple-flanged hoops leave an open rimshot and a little air around the head. Ten lugs support even tension around the 14-inch playing surface.

  • 1.2mm Seamless Brass Shell Black Nickel Plated
  • 2.3mm Steel Triple Flanged Hoops
  • P88 Throw Off
  • P35AC Butt Plate
  • Ludwig Weather Master Medium Coated Head
  • Ludwig Weather Master Clear Snare Side Head
  • 10 lugs

If within 30 days of receiving your purchase you decide it is not right for you providing it is returned in “as new” condition within its unopened original packing we will refund or exchange your item as desired. In cases where packaging has been opened we may be unable to offer a refund but in some cases will offer a refund that reflects the reduced resale value of the item.

We do our best to make sure every aspect of your Drum Central order goes smoothly but in the event that an item arrives either damaged or incorrect then notify us within 14 days and we will arrange a free collection so as to get the item swapped or replaced.

If your purchase develops a fault within the 2 year warranty period you can return it to us and we will repair or replace it. A fault is defined as a defect that you would not normally expect to occur through normal wear and tear and that has not been caused by improper use.
