Description

Ludwig Acro Copper 14″ x 6.5″ Brushed Copper Snare Drum. This Acro Copper has a broad 14-inch backbeat and the added resonance of a 6.5-inch shell. Copper keeps the note dark and rounded, but the initial hit still has enough presence to work as a primary snare.

Shell and Sound:

The single-piece seamless copper shell has a brushed finish. Its darker metal timbre is comparatively controlled, leaving a warm centre with a distinct front attack.

Hardware and Response:

Ten twin-style lugs provide the Acro layout. Steel triple-flanged hoops let the head ring and give the rimshot an open edge without taking the copper character out of the note.
