Description

The 16″ Vintage Trash Crash has a sandblasted surface that softens the attack and tones down harsher frequencies, leaving a warm, mellow voice with a matte look. Beside it, the 18″ Extra Dry Thin Crash offers a softer playing response, low pitch and trashy overtones, then decays quickly to leave space in the groove. Both bring texture, but their different treatments give you a choice of accent rather than two copies of the same sound. The raw-looking Extra Dry surface reflects extensive hand hammering, while the Vintage finish gives the smaller cymbal its softened character. The set also includes SB106 Hybrid 5A sticks, as specified in this listing.

Included In This Set:
  • 16″ Byzance Vintage Trash Crash Cymbal – B16TRC
  • 18″ Byzance Extra Dry Thin Crash Cymbal – B18EDTC

Sound & Feel:
  • Mellow Vintage attack with a warm tone
