Description

The included 16″ Vintage Trash Crash gives this pack another texture to reach for beyond the signature Sand trio. Its cut-outs use different shapes and sizes to create a wide, noisy spread for quick accents. Alongside it, the 18″ Sand Thin Crash offers a dark, short-sustaining voice, while the 14″ Sand Hats keep grooves articulate. The 20″ Sand Ride adds a dry stick sound and a distinct bell, with a sandblasted top and partially lathed underside helping the sound decay quickly. It is a versatile combination for Benny Greb-style funk and fusion detail, with enough contrast to give fills their own character.

Included In This Set:
  • 14″ Byzance Vintage Sand Hi-Hat Cymbals – pair
  • 18″ Byzance Vintage Sand Thin Crash Cymbal
  • 20″ Byzance Vintage Sand Ride Cymbal
  • 16″ Byzance Vintage Trash Crash Cymbal (B16TRC)
Sound & Feel:
  • Defined Sand hi-hat response
  • Short, dark Sand Thin Crash accents
  • Dry ride attack with an articulate bell
  • Wide, noisy Trash Crash voice for quick punctuation
Built to Perform:
  • Hand-hammered B20 bronze cymbals
  • Sandblasted finish across the setup
  • Different cut-out shapes and sizes on the Trash Crash
  • Thin crash weights and a medium-weight Sand Ride
Ideal For:
  • Funk and fusion playing with effects accents
  • Pop, jazz and R&B arrangements
  • Players who want an extra trash voice alongside the Sand trio
