Description

Thomas Lang’s selection gives each cymbal a clear role without making the setup feel limited. The Fast Hi-Hats use two different finishes for a dry, immediate response and a quick pedal chick. The 18″ Polyphonic Crash has thin edges around a thicker, unlathed bell, so the main crash sound opens quickly and settles back, while bell strokes give you another accent voice. The heavy Flex Ride balances stick definition with wash and adds an intense bell for parts that need extra punch. It can also take on a heavy crash role, making the pack a useful fit for rock, funk and fusion arrangements.

Included in This Set:
  • 14″ Byzance Brilliant Fast Hi-Hats – pair
  • 18″ Byzance Traditional Polyphonic Crash
  • 21″ Byzance Brilliant Flex Ride
Sound & Feel:
  • Fast, dry hi-hat response with a short sustain
  • Polyphonic crash with a quick opening accent
  • Flex Ride with defined sticking and an intense bell
Built to Perform:
  • Hand-hammered B20 bronze construction
  • Fast Hi-Hats with two different finishes
  • Flex Ride usable as a ride or heavy crash
