Description

The Meinl HCS Dark 14″ Hi-Hats bring a darker edge to the cymbal you play most. Specially treated brass keeps the response focused, helping eighth-note grooves stay clear while the black finish gives the kit a properly different look.

Sound & Feel:

Closed notes are tight and easy to place, with enough stick definition to keep time clean. Open them up and the wash becomes broader without turning harsh, while the foot sound stays clear for quieter passages and count-ins.

Construction and Finish:

The brass is specially treated to create a more controlled tone than the regular HCS range. Its dark black surface is part of the HCS Dark identity rather than a conventional brilliant or traditional finish.

Who It Suits:

Made for beginners who want dependable 14″ hi-hats with a darker sound and a visual style that stands apart from standard brass cymbals.

Why Choose the HCS Dark 14″ Hi-Hats?

They keep the pulse clear while smoothing off the brighter edge often heard from entry-level cymbals. That makes them easy to use across rock, pop and heavier practice-room playing.
