Description

The Meinl HCS Dark 3-Piece Cymbal Pack gives a first full-size drum kit a darker, more controlled set of voices from the start. The 14″ hi-hats, 16″ crash and 20″ ride are made from specially treated brass, with each cymbal tuned to keep bright overtones and long wash under control.

Cymbals Included:

14″ HCS Dark hi-hat cymbals for defined closed patterns, a clear foot sound and controlled open wash
16″ HCS Dark crash cymbal for quick accents with a damped tail
20″ HCS Dark ride cymbal for focused stick definition, darker wash and a clear bell voice

Construction and Finish:

All three cymbal voices use specially treated brass. That treatment gives the range its focused, tone-controlled response, while the black finish brings a bold modern look across the full setup.

Sound & Feel:

The hi-hats keep the groove precise, the crash opens quickly without hanging over the next phrase and the ride holds a clear pulse above a restrained wash. Together they form a coherent setup rather than three unrelated cymbal sounds.

Who It Suits:

This pack is aimed at beginners who want the main cymbal voices in one matched set, especially for rock, pop and heavier playing where a darker pitch and controlled volume work well.

Please Note:

This pack contains cymbals only. Cymbal stands and other drum hardware are not included.

Why Choose the HCS Dark 3-Piece Cymbal Pack?

It covers the core hi-hat, crash and ride positions with a consistent dark character, giving a first kit a strong identity without jumping into a higher price bracket.
