Description

The two Thin Crashes are the centre of this pack’s quick response, opening easily for accents without needing a heavy stroke. Their rounded-peen AAX hammering brings more detail to the sound beneath the high-end attack. The 14″ Medium Hats give the groove a crisp foundation, and the 21″ Medium Ride adds controlled sticking while still opening into a crash when the part needs it. Sabian tests each cymbal individually and then checks the combination in the Vault, so the sounds are selected to work together.

Included In This Set:
  • 14″ AAX Medium Hi-Hat Cymbals – pair
  • 16″ AAX Thin Crash Cymbal
  • 18″ AAX Thin Crash Cymbal
  • 21″ AAX Medium Ride Cymbal
Sound & Feel:
  • Fast-opening thin crashes for responsive accents
  • Detailed crash tone beneath the high-end attack
  • Crisp hi-hats for clear rhythmic patterns
  • Controlled ride sticking with room for crash accents
Built to Perform:
  • B20 bronze construction across the set
  • Rounded-peen AAX hammering for a more complex response
  • Thin crashes paired with Medium Hats and a Medium Ride
  • Cymbals checked individually and as a set in the Sabian Vault
Ideal For:
  • Pop and rock grooves with responsive crash accents
  • Live and studio playing that calls for clear sticking
  • Players building a matched hi-hat, crash and ride setup

Sabian 14″ AAX Medium Hats –  A smaller, raw bell results in crispy, versatile hi-hats that blend nicely into mainstream sounds. The foot is very solid, and the thinner-sounding weight of this medium pairing makes them ideal for studio recording.

Sabian 16″ AAX Thin Crash – A small raw bell delivers faster response.

Sabian 18″ AAX Thin Crash – A small raw bell delivers faster response.

Sabian 21″ AAX Medium Ride –  A smaller, raw bell equals increased crash-ability producing a complex ride with great versatility.
