Vic Firth Symphonic Collection Greg Zuber ‘Excalibur’ Signature Snare Drumsticks

£41.59

The Vic Firth Greg Zuber ‘Excalibur’ Drumsticks offer a highly refined design for players seeking maximum dynamic control – especially in soft, exposed passages. As a second addition from Greg Zuber, Principal Percussionist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, this model features the same 17″ length and thick shaft as his ‘Nothung’ stick, but with a dramatically different tip and neck design. A narrow neck leads to a small, bullet-shaped tip, resulting in a highly focused sound with exceptional clarity and control. Crafted from laminated birch, this stick provides a dense, responsive feel that performs beautifully at all dynamic levels.

Key Features:
  • Length: 17″ – Extended length for leverage and range

  • Diameter: 0.675″ – Thick shaft adds stability and control

  • Tip Shape: Bullet – Produces clean, focused articulation with minimal contact noise

  • Taper: Long – Encourages smooth rebound and responsive handling

  • Wood Type: Laminated Birch – Strong and resonant with a solid feel

  • Finish: Natural Lacquer – Sleek and smooth for a confident grip

  • Focused and Subtle – Small bullet tip creates clear articulation at low volume

  • Controlled and Responsive – Long taper and narrow neck enhance finesse and rebound

  • Weighted and Balanced – Thick shaft provides stability without sacrificing touch

Built to Last:

  • Laminated birch offers long-lasting durability and tonal consistency

  • Professionally matched pairs for even weight, pitch, and balance

  • Made in the USA with Vic Firth’s hallmark precision and craftsmanship

Ideal For:
