Quick Release Nut:
The QRN8 Quick Release Nut helps reduce setup and pack-down time by allowing the cymbal nut to be attached or removed without threading it along the cymbal post. Once fitted, the nut can be turned to adjust the cymbal’s movement and resonance, while an integrated locking mechanism helps keep it securely in position.
Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer:
The SECW8 Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer sits beneath the cymbal, with a conventional felt washer above. Its hybrid construction combines a soft foam rubber outer section with a firmer silicone rubber core, allowing the cymbal to vibrate more freely for improved resonance and sustain. The outer section can also be removed so the cymbal rests on the silicone core alone, providing an even more open response with increased sustain.
Precise Cymbal Positioning:
The redesigned gear-equipped centre tilter allows accurate adjustment of the cymbal angle while supporting the cymbal from the centre for excellent stability. The Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp grips the boom arm securely from three sides and requires only light tightening to achieve strong holding power. An integrated memory lock helps maintain consistent positioning between setups.
Boom or Straight Stand:
The 33cm boom arm can be positioned to place cymbals exactly where required or retracted inside the upper tube to convert the CS7 into a straight cymbal stand. This versatile design also makes the stand more compact when packed away for transport.
