Description

The DFP9500C uses Yamaha’s double-chain drive system to provide a direct, powerful response while maintaining smooth pedal movement. The pedal has been engineered to minimise unwanted movement and play throughout the mechanism, helping both the primary and secondary pedals respond consistently during fast double bass drum patterns.

Extensive adjustment allows the pedal to be tailored to different playing styles. The footboard and beater angles can be set independently, while spring tension can be adjusted to change the resistance and return speed. Yamaha’s self-locking spring adjustment helps prevent the selected setting from changing during demanding performances.

Adjustment and Performance:
  • Double-chain drive system
  • Independent footboard angle adjustment
  • Independent beater angle adjustment
  • Adjustable spring tension
  • Self-locking spring tension adjustment

The connecting shaft transfers movement efficiently between the two pedals for a balanced and responsive feel.
