Description
The DTX-PROX uses carefully recorded samples of real acoustic drums and cymbals captured in professional recording studios. Yamaha also sampled the natural ambience of the rooms, allowing the module to reproduce not only the instruments themselves but also the depth and character of the spaces in which they were recorded. Detailed dynamic response allows the sounds to react naturally from delicate playing through to powerful accents.
Three dedicated Kit Modifier controls provide immediate access to Ambience, Compression and Effects. These controls allow substantial changes to the overall character of a kit without navigating through menus. Seven LED rotary faders provide further hands-on control, making it quick and easy to adjust individual instruments and other parameters during practice, recording or live performance.
