Yamaha DTX6K5-M Electronic Drum Kit

Description

The DTX6K5-M is designed around a more acoustic-style playing experience than smaller electronic kits. Its 12″ XP120L-M snare and three 10″ XP100L-M tom pads use two-ply Remo mesh heads, providing adjustable tension, comfortable rebound and excellent acoustic noise reduction. The pads also use acoustic-style hoops to provide a familiar feel around the playing surface.

Cymbal sizes are equally generous, with two 13″ PCY135 crash pads and a 15″ PCY155 ride. All three cymbals provide separate edge, bow and cup sounds as well as choke and mute functionality. The ride also features positional sensing, allowing the sound to change depending on where the playing surface is struck. The RHH135 hi-hat sits on a conventional Yamaha HS650A hi-hat stand, providing familiar positioning and pedal operation.
