Twist to Set Clutch Nut:
Yamaha’s Twist to Set system makes fitting and removing the top hi-hat cymbal quick and straightforward. Rather than repeatedly threading a conventional retaining nut into position, the mechanism can be secured or released with a simple twist, helping reduce setup and pack-down time.
Double Lock Nut:
The JLC9 incorporates a Double Lock Nut system to securely maintain the selected cymbal position. The two locking nuts work together to resist unwanted movement and loosening during energetic playing, helping maintain a consistent hi-hat response throughout a performance.
Shaft Protect Plate:
A dedicated metal protection plate sits between the securing bolt and hi-hat shaft. This prevents the tip of the wing bolt from pressing directly against the shaft, helping avoid the scratches, dents and other surface damage that can develop through repeated adjustment of a conventional clutch.
Hard Felt:
