Hybrid Construction:
The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer combines a soft black foam rubber outer section with a firmer blue silicone core. Together, these materials provide a supportive mounting surface while allowing greater freedom of movement, helping the cymbal project its natural tonal character.
Two Ways to Use:
- Foam Rubber + Silicone Core: Provides increased low-frequency response and enhanced sustain compared with a traditional felt washer
- Silicone Core Only: Remove the outer foam section for increased volume and sustain across a wider frequency range
This flexible design allows the cymbal response to be adjusted without changing stands or adding complicated hardware. Drummers can experiment with both configurations to find the response that best suits the cymbal, playing style and performance environment.
