Low-Height Design:
The SS7S is specifically designed for applications where a conventional snare stand cannot be positioned low enough. Its shortened height makes it particularly useful for deep snare drums, auxiliary side snares and other drums positioned around the main kit.
Ball Clamp Tilter:
Yamaha’s Ball Clamp Tilter allows the basket to be smoothly adjusted across a wide range of angles. This provides greater freedom when positioning an auxiliary drum in a crowded setup and makes it easy to achieve a comfortable playing angle without being restricted to predetermined tilter positions.
The basket can also be rotated, providing additional flexibility when positioning the snare strainer and other drum hardware.
Tone-Enhancing Basket Rubber:
Specially designed basket rubbers support the drum while reducing unnecessary restriction and vibration transfer between the shell and stand. This allows the drum to resonate more freely, helping maintain its natural tone and sustain.
