The Evans EC2S series are double-ply heads constructed of 7-mil film. They are optimised for attack, tone, length of sustain and ease of tuning no matter the size of the head. Evans’ patented Sound Shaping Technology Edge Control ring, attached to the underside of the head, delivers an extremely well balanced and pre-EQ’d sound across the full kit by varying the size of the ring for each different head size. The effect is similar to that of an Evans E- Ring but in a more subtle way.

Evans EC2S come with either a clear or coated/frosted finish. Clear finishes tend to be brighter with more attack while coated finishes give a warmer, more rounded sound.
