The Istanbul Agop Turk Series is defined by its raw, earthy aesthetic and deeply complex voice, created through extensive hand hammering and a complete absence of lathing. This unrefined surface helps produce an exceptionally dry, dark sound with minimal overtone buildup and a quick, controlled decay. Each cymbal responds with a rich, organic character that feels both ancient and expressive, making the Turk Series a favourite among jazz, experimental and groove-oriented players seeking a nuanced, atmospheric tone. With their distinctive raw finish and handcrafted individuality, Turk cymbals offer a uniquely musical blend of dryness, depth and complexity.
