The Mapex MPX Maple 13×6″ Snare Drum is a fat but focussed sounding snare. Maple is a favourite wood of high end drum makers because of the warm tonality it generates. The 13″ diameter increases the drums pitch but also controls over tones. The maple shell and 6″ depth gives it a warmth that other 13″ snares can lack.
