Description

The Meinl Stick & Brush Diego Galé Signature Timbales Sticks are designed in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer, composer, and instrumentalist Diego Galé. A lifelong student and master of Afro-Cuban music, Galé worked with Meinl to create a timbale stick that goes beyond standard dimensions, offering the reach, balance, and power that modern performers demand.

Made from resilient American hickory, these sticks measure 16 1/4″ in length with a 1/2″ diameter, providing a firm grip and additional reach without sacrificing control. Each end is smoothly rounded for comfort and handling, making them versatile across timbales, bells, and cascara patterns.

Galé highlights their flawless playability: “These sticks have the qualities to achieve a deep and brilliant sound in the bells as well as being forceful when playing the cascara on timbales. They have the ideal weight to avoid fatigue and the perfect balance for comfort, versatility, and projection.”

Why choose the Meinl Stick & Brush Diego Galé Signature Timbales Sticks?

• Developed with Grammy-winning timbalero Diego Galé
• Extra-long 16 1/4″ design provides additional reach and skillful versatility
• 1/2″ thickness offers a secure, comfortable grip
• Balanced weight reduces fatigue while enhancing projection
• Delivers brilliant bell tones and powerful cascara response
