The Sabian 14″ HHX Compression Hi-Hat Cymbals are designed to bring an edgy, industrial voice to your hi-hat setup. Built from premium B20 bronze and shaped using Sabianโs signature HHX hammering, these hats pair an unlathed, vented medium-weight top with a heavy, fully lathed Aero-style bottom. The result is a bold, metallic response with a distinct trashy character.
When closed, the hats produce a strong, punchy chick. Played open, they deliver a sizzling, gritty wash that sits perfectly in aggressive mixes. The air holes in the top cymbal reduce air lock, improve feel, and add a crisp texture to both stick articulation and foot control.
