Description

Tama 22″ Superstar Classic 5-Piece Shell Pack – Coffee Fade is built around 5 mm six-ply maple tom and snare shells with a 7 mm eight-ply maple bass drum shell. The 22″ bass drum and 16″ floor tom bring full-size weight, while the 10″ and 12″ rack toms and 14″ x 6.5″ snare cover the faster, sharper voices. The thin shells respond without needing to be hit hard, and the low-mass lugs leave more of the maple shell free to ring.

Shell Construction and Bearing Edges:

• 5 mm six-ply maple tom and snare shells with a 7 mm eight-ply maple bass drum shell
• Precision-cut 45-degree bearing edges with a back cut for clear attack, easy head seating and a broad tuning range
• The thin shells respond without needing to be hit hard, and the low-mass lugs leave more of the maple shell free to ring.

Mounting and Hardware:

• Star-Mount rack-tom suspension supports resonance without drilling into the shell
• Triple-flanged hoops and low-mass single lugs keep the drums lively
• Power Craft II heads include a pre-muffled bass drum batter head
• Included mounting hardware: MTH600 double tom holder
