Description

The DFP9500CL is specifically configured for left-footed players. The primary pedal and beaters attach to the bass drum for operation with the left foot, while the remote pedal is positioned for the right foot. This provides the same professional features and performance as the standard DFP9500C while creating the correct ergonomic layout for a left-handed drum kit.

Yamaha’s double-chain drive provides a direct and dependable connection between the footboard and beater mechanism. Smooth bearing-supported components and a carefully engineered connecting shaft help both pedals respond consistently, making the DFP9500CL suitable for controlled patterns as well as fast and powerful double bass drum playing.

Adjustment and Performance:
  • Left-footed double pedal configuration
  • Double-chain drive system
  • Independent footboard angle adjustment
  • Independent beater angle adjustment
  • Adjustable spring tension
  • Self-locking spring tension adjustment
  • Smooth bearing-supported drive mechanism
  • Adjustable connecting drive shaft
  • Stabilising spikes help prevent unwanted pedal movement
Two-Way Beaters:
  • Supplied with two Yamaha two-way bass drum beaters
  • Felt surface provides a warmer and more traditional bass drum attack
  • Plastic surface provides a harder and more defined attack
  • Beater angle can be adjusted independently from the footboard angle

The DFP9500CL provides extensive adjustment so the pedal can be tailored to suit individual technique and playing preference. Beater angle, footboard angle and spring tension can all be adjusted, while the stabilising hardware helps keep both pedals securely positioned during demanding performances.
