The professional choice for over 20 years offering aggressive attack and dark tones. Classic Oak kits are made to the highest standards using a drum manufacturing process that has been refined over the course of more than 100 years.

Ludwig’s Classic Oak shell is built from a standard 7-ply, 6mm shell which is formulated for optimum resonance and tonality. Its cross laminated, 2.4mm centre three-ply maple core panel is inserted between inner and outer two-ply panels of oak using Ludwig’s own Radio Frequency Shell Technology moulding process.

Classic Oak shell packs are available in 4 standard configurations:

Fab – 22×14″ Bass Drum 13×9″ Tom and 16×16″ Floor Tom
Downbeat – 20×14″ Bass Drum 12×8″ Tom and 14×14″ Floor Tom
Mod – 22×14″ Bass Drum 10×8″, 12×9″ Toms and 16×16″ Floor Tom
Pro Beat – 24×14″ Bass Drum, 13×9″ Tom and 16×16″ Floor Tom
