The Yamaha 20″ Stage Custom Birch 5-Piece Shell Pack – Deep Blue Sunburst is built around 6-ply, 6.6 mm 100% birch shells, paired with 45-degree bearing edges. The all-birch shells naturally emphasise attack and shorten the decay, so close notes do not blur together. The 45-degree edges keep the response lively and make small tuning changes easy to hear. The 20″ x 17″ bass drum trims the footprint and feels quick under the foot, while 10″, 12″ and 14″ toms create a smooth, compact tuning spread. It is easy to place on a smaller stage but still has the projection needed for a miked gig.
