Description

The Evans Resonant Black Series Bass Drum Head is designed for drummers who want the most open and natural tone possible from their kick drum. Made from a single ply of 7.5mil film, this head delivers long, sustained resonance with no internal damping, no mic port, and no control rings—just pure, unfiltered tone straight from the shell.

Whether you’re after the deep, booming presence of a vintage-style bass drum or an expressive, wide-open sound for jazz and live acoustic settings, this head offers exceptional sustain and tonal depth. Its classic black finish gives your kit a sleek, timeless look on stage or in the studio. Ideal for use as a resonant (front) bass drum head, the Resonant Black Series is a perfect choice for players who prefer natural projection and an undamped response.

Why Choose the Evans Resonant Black Series:

• Delivers pure, open bass drum tone with extended sustain
• Unported design maintains full shell resonance
• Perfect for traditional, vintage, and acoustic-style setups
• Classic black finish enhances stage presence
