Description

The 22″ Kerope Medium Thin High Ride features a larger surface and a lighter touch, producing sweet overtones and a rich, musical wash. Designed for dynamic playing, it responds beautifully to both sticks and mallets, making it a top choice for expressive players.

The Zildjian Kerope series represents the pinnacle of old-world cymbal craftsmanship, drawing direct inspiration from the legendary K Zildjian cymbals of the 1950s and ’60s. Painstakingly handcrafted in small batches, every Kerope cymbal is made using traditional techniques—hammered and lathed by skilled artisans to deliver unmatched warmth, complexity, and musicality.

Designed for discerning drummers who crave vintage character and deeply expressive tone, Kerope cymbals respond beautifully across dynamic ranges, from whisper-soft brushwork to articulate ride patterns. Their dark, rich tonal palette and smooth, complex wash make them ideal for jazz, fusion, singer-songwriter, and any style that values nuance over volume.

With a variety of weight profiles and ride characteristics, the Kerope series offers something for every player who values feel and sound over flash. These cymbals are not only tools for expression—they’re instruments with a voice and soul of their own.

Why Choose Kerope:

  • Inspired by the most sought-after vintage cymbals in history
  • Crafted using Zildjian’s centuries-old manufacturing secrets
  • Warm, dark, and musical tone with unmatched complexity
  • Each cymbal is individually handcrafted and unique
  • A favorite among professional studio and jazz drummers
