Tama Metalworks snare drums offer bright tones with a tight crispness in high-tuning and a smooth resonance in low-tuning. The 1.2mm matte black steel shell is processed to have a ridge on the centre of the shell as reinforcement. The colour of the shell hardware is matched to the matte black steel shell. Metal snares generally give a tight, cutting sound with a big dynamic range, and the steel shells on Metalworks snares pack a real punch.  Delivering superb quality at a great price, the Tama Metalworks snare drum is the perfect workhorse snare for the modern, adaptable drummer. The 6.5″ model is that little bit deeper for a huge rocking low end too, which will find a place in any aggressive music style.

Tama Metalworks Snare Drums are available as 14″ x 5.5″ or 14″ x 6.5″.
