The Shells

Mapex have built their name on hybrid shell technology and the Armory benefits from this wealth of knowledge. A 6 ply blend of Birch/Maple/Birch produces tones that benefit from both the natural warmth of maple and the natural punch and bite of birch.

The Finish

High Gloss lacquer finishes come as standard on all Armory kits providing a stunning eye catching finish in a wide variety of colour. The laquer is applied over an olivewood outer veneer which allows the natural grain of the wood to shine through.

Soniclear Technology

Soniclear bearing edges allow the drum head to sit flatter which provides easier tuning and also helps the resonance transfer from the head into the shell allowing it to reach its full sonic potential. Soniclear tom mounts and floor tom legs hold the drum with less resistance allowing the shell to reverberate freely and reducing the amount of resonance lost into the hardware.

If your purchase develops a fault within the 2 year warranty period you can return it to us and we will repair or replace it. A fault is defined as a defect that you would not normally expect to occur through normal wear and tear and that has not been caused by improper use.
